Welcome to Spread N' Share Project by MissDI
"The world is waiting to be redefined by the biggest, smallest, boldest, quirkiest, bravest, most inspiring and most brilliant ideas from young people around the world".
After many years teaching, learning and educating, I can see that currently young people are actively shaping their world, and they're incredibly skilled at understanding and interpreting information. Now is the time to guide them with accurate facts and effective communication strategies so they can confidently share their ideas and inspire positive change.
In order to inspire positive changes in society, the students must have the ability to decode and think critically about other people’s ideas, the ability to develop an idea and articulate it effectively and the ability to have global awareness in order to become confident, creative and SMART speakers. SMART means the speaker talks with the objectives that are super specific, easy to measure, totally achievable, relevant to the real world, and right on time! Knowing that students learn better when they are discussing and learning from one another, and when they hear and interact with their peers, I am called to help them prepare the skills needed to be great speakers and innovators of learning!
My goals are to help students to develop the skills :
Strong critical thinking and creative skills, particularly in crafting compelling speeches, which empowers young people to become effective communicators and inspire meaningful change in the world.
The ability to demonstrate empathy by actively listening to and considering the perspectives of others, while confidently sharing one's own knowledge and insights within open discussions
The ability to effectively share and collaborate on work and ideas with facilitators and students from diverse geographical locations and backgrounds, encompassing varying perspectives, cultures, and beliefs.
The skills of innovating strategy and ideas to help other people learn effectively and achieve their educational goals.
Well, there are other skills that need to work on as the project runs, but I do believe that your support (parents , fellow educators and facilitators, and students) will help to make this project be fruitful to many people.
Wish me luck!
